THE BEST YET!

A big thanks to everyone - our audience, the great staff at Seattle International Film Festival, our terrific sponsors, visiting guests, and all the hardworking volunteers from our Seattle-Perugia Sister City Association - for making the 3rd Annual Seattle Italian Film Festival the best yet.  Cinema Italian Style had some great moments and films, from Emanuele Crialese's TERRAFERMA, to Nanni Morretti's satire on the papacy, HABEMAS PAPEM.

The Taste of Italy sampling of Italian foods, wines, art, and fashion - always a part of the Festival - was a great treat on the weekend.  I'm still tasting the great porchetta Pietro Borghesi brought over from La Spiga, the pastries and gelato from Gelatiamo, that terrific sauce of Cucina Fresca, the hot coffee from Caffe` Umbria, the lovely wines from the Small Vineyards collection, that parmegiano Ritrovo Foods brought to the table, and the VioVi orange juice.  Great stuff.

Winner of the trip to Italy for this year - Gwen Yazzolino of Seattle!

Thank you all for coming - we'll do it again next year!
